#1: 20 random facts about me

I picked up this 30-day writing challenge from Pinterest just so I could kickstart with my process. Here goes entry no. 1!
- I may look like it but I'm not Middle Eastern; both my parents are Filipinos. Even in UAE, other foreigners are surprised to learn I am completely Filipino.
- My favourite colour is Dusty Rose. (HEX code: B77B82) During high school it was FF99CC but I don't know what that's called.
- I am a Computer Engineer! Yup, 5 years Engineering school and one summer class because— Physics! But attending summer class was fun, won me a few friends, and made me respect irregular students even more.
- I stand 152cm tall. Is that 5 feet? No? 4'11.5"? Maybe round it up then? Okay.
- I am born on the 9th of June, on a Thursday, at 5:15. The only baby girl in the room.
- I might have selective amnesia (but don't we all have one?!), there are lots of memories I lost most but not limited to my childhood.
- I like weight-lifting! Stretching. Running. (Pain and pushing myself to my limits.)
- I used to join in a few "Tula" (poem-reciting) competitions when I was young.
- I joined two beauty pageants; one back in high school where I bagged 1st place and another before entering college where I was placed 4th. Obviously, it wasn't my line. I would enjoy question and answers but my co-candidates' height and confidence would intimidate me.
- I competed as a backstroke swimmer back in college for the Engineering department. And swam 50m butterfly for the sake of getting an entry! I think I almost gave up swimming after that butterfly. Lol.
- I have scoliosis. I can't stay fat or I'll be putting too much pressure on my back which hurts in a really bad way.
- I love Taylor Swift. (If you didn't know that, are we even friends?!)
- I might have social anxiety. Due to the reason that I have isolated myself for a long, long, long, long, long time. (Are those five 'long's? Ah, yes, tell me about it.)
- I like mimicking. (Have you heard me say Pikachu? Banana? Potato na?)
- My shoe size is 5. Or 36. Quite small, eh?
- My ring size is 4.5 — much smaller right?! Difficult for me to shop for a ring that fits!
- I would always say I'm a frustrated Cabin Crew, but thinking about it I think I'm more of a frustrated writer. :) Well, I really wanted to be a Cabin Crew when I was young because travelling the world appeals so much to me but as I get older I realized what I really wanted to do was write.
- I've written 31 unpublished songs (complete with lyrics, melody, and chords). Don't ask where they are. No matter how hard I try to lose them, they always find a way back to my desk. So probably they are still somewhere in my room in the Philippines. I've also written a short story and an unfinished novel which I think I've successfully burnt.
- I'm more into sci-fi, action, mystery, conspiracy, and thriller than romance — may it be movies or books. Which explains why my favourite author is Dan Brown.
